What issues do you help with?

I work with adults on anxiety and overthinking, trauma and PTSD, depression, burnout and chronic stress, and relationship patterns, including couples therapy. I also focus on men's mental health and on veterans, military families, and first responders.

Do you offer in-person or virtual sessions?

Both. In-person sessions are held at my office in the Clear Lake area of Houston (1335 Regents Park Dr #140, Houston, TX 77058), and secure video telehealth is available anywhere in Texas, including Pasadena. For telehealth, you need to be in Texas during the session.

What happens in a first session?

A first full session is mostly about getting to know you: I explain how I work, ask what's been going on and what made you reach out, and we handle the basic intake paperwork. Toward the end, we start shaping what you want to work on. You don't need to prepare anything or have your story figured out.

How do I book?

Book a free 15-minute phone consultation at therapybydavid.com/intake: a few quick questions first, then you pick a time. You can also call (832) 544-2562. If it feels like a fit, we schedule your first session.

Do you offer a free consultation?

Yes. Every new client starts with a free 15-minute phone consultation, with no cost and no commitment. You share a bit about what's going on, I explain how I work, and we decide together whether it's a good fit before you book a full session.
